Whether you have a one time, group or weekly availability – there is always a way to get involved at RISSE. By clicking on the volunteer application below you can see a current list of project opportunities that are updated monthly.

Group Volunteers:
RISSE welcomes group volunteers to work on a particular project. The best days for Group work are Tues, Wed and Fridays. If you have a date in mind please email the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@risse-albany.
Background Checks:
Given the nature of safety for our clients, some volunteer roles will require a need for a background check such as being a family mentor, or teaching ENL classes off site. There is a one time 30$ fee associated with the background check.
